Gujarat: Veerhealth Care Ltd – engaged in the business of ayurvedic, herbal and personal care products has successfully turnaround its business operations in FY23. Company has reported net profit of Rs. 1.58 crore and revenue from operations of Rs 13.27 crore in FY23. Company also successfully completed preferential issue of Rs. 5.90 crore to fund its expansion plans. For FY23, company reported revenues of Rs. 13.27 crore, 38 per cent growth YOY as against revenue of Rs. 9.62 crore in FY22. Company reported net profit of Rs. 1.58 crore in FY23 as against loss of Rs. 9.6 lakh in FY22. EPS for FY23 was Rs. 1.52 per share. In the month of March 2023, company completed preferential allotment of 30.65 lakh equity shares of Rs. 10 each at Rs. 19.25 per share including premium of Rs. 9.25 per share amounting Rs. 5.90 crore. The funds are being utilised for the expansion of company's manufacturing facilities, new product launches and install new manufacturing lines.
Shriram Properties Q4 profit falls 76%
New Delhi: Realty firm Shriram Properties Ltd has reported a 76 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 15.82 crore in the quarter ended March on lower income. Its net profit stood at Rs 64.83 crore in the year-ago period. Total income fell to Rs 170.97 crore in the fourth quarter of last fiscal from Rs 236.5 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a regulatory filing. During the last fiscal, net profit jumped nearly four times to Rs 68.2 crore from Rs 18.03 crore in the previous year. Total income grew to Rs 813.92 crore in the last fiscal from Rs 517.8 crore in the 2021-22 financial year.
NHPC Q4 profit grows 39%
New Delhi: NHPC has posted 39.40 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 719.18 crore for March quarter 2022-23 helped by higher income. It had clocked a net profit of Rs 515.90 crore during January-March 2021-22, the company said in a regulatory filing on Monday. Total income also rose to Rs 2,228.68 crore from Rs 2,026.62 crore in the year-ago quarter. For the entire 2022-23, net profit increased to Rs 4,234.74 crore from Rs 3,774.33 crore in previous fiscal year. Total income during the entire fiscal year was at Rs 11,284.90 crore, higher than Rs 10,108.26 crore in FY22. The board has also approved a final dividend of Rs 4.50 per share of face value of Rs 10 each for FY23. NHPC, under Ministry of Power, is India's largest hydropower producer.
CBDT notifies e-appeals scheme
New Delhi: The Income Tax department has notified the e-appeals scheme, which will ensure electronic filing and processing of appeals. Under the 'e-Appeals Scheme, 2023', the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) shall dispose of the appeals filed before it or allocated or transferred to it. The scheme also provides for personal hearings through video conferencing in appeal cases, where the assessee has filed an appeal against the assessment order of taxmen. Nangia Andersen India Partner Neeraj Agarwala said the implementation of e-appeals is a progressive step towards a more efficient, accessible and accountable tax system. "By taking the necessary precautions, such as meticulous preparation and providing comprehensive supporting documentation to substantiate their claims, taxpayers can look forward to speedy disposals.”
